"The Man Who Saved Christmas"
August 2002.

The reason why we are laughing is an AD had been asked to take our picture and just before she clicked, Ed Asner said to me "Could you bob down a little so I don't look so short."

We just broke up and the camera clicked and here is the result!

"Verdict in Blood"
August 2001".

My son James and I had both been booked for background work in a court scene on this Movie of the Week. Here he is with my favourite Canadian actress, Wendy Crewson.

"Verdict in Blood"
August 2001.

As a big James Bond fan, I remember Robert from his role as a rather nasty villain in "Licence to Kill" with Timothy Dalton as Bond. He and I were seated together for this scene and he turned out to be a very funny person, using one of the red cones from outside as a megaphone as he addressed everyone in unintelligible french!

"Welcome to Mooseport"
June 2003.

I was brought in to double for someone who had been booked for two days but had decided to go on holiday. Some of the crew were trying to get Ray interested in doing crossword puzzles and as that is something I like doing, I got to help him out

They should really have started him on something simple instead of handing him a Cryptic Crossword with a number of the solutions wrong. Guaranteed to put anyone off crosswords for life! I hope Ray didn't give up.

"Night of Terror"
October 2005.

This was a fun shoot at a hotel. Nick was very friendly and three of us acted as his business associates - the other two, apart from myself, were Chris Gillett and Jeno Huber.

The second A.D. came from a place in England close to where I lived, so we had a good laugh talking about 'the old country'.
